In Year 1 we have been busy learning how to read, follow and write instructions. We made Lighthouse Sandwiches for Mrs Grinling last week and this week we are writing the instructions to match, pop in and see if you like.
Below are pictures taken from when we made bread for the Little Red Hen, do you think you could type some instructions to match?
By the way it tasted delicious so you if you fancy having a go and need any bread making advice, just ask Year 1!

Last week Year 1 all went to the playground in the Park to investigate Push and Pull. We found out that some things you push, some things you pull and some things you do BOTH! If you want to see how much fun we had just look at this photo.(There are lots more photos in all of the classrooms)

We had a firework display in the park and look how we are turning this into a dance.

This half-term we have been ‘under the sea’. As part of our learning we went to the Blue Planet aquarium to see for ourselves who lives in water.

We saw terrapins eating brocolli!!

We stroked some stingrays.

We learnt to communicate underwater.

We finally found Nemo!
