Soccer Academy joins forces with Year 1

Year One spent the afternoon combining maths and football with the help of Soccer Academy.
After splitting into teams we all had the opportunity to compete in a mental maths challenge AND practise our football skills, what a great way to spend an afternoon!

Year 1 Visit to Llandudno

Year 1 went on an amazing trip to the seaside. We travelled to Llandudno, North Wales. The day was spent playing on the beach, eating ice-cream, walking on the pier and watching a traditional Punch and Judy show.

Instruction Writing Can Be Yummy!

In Year 1 we have been busy learning how to read, follow and write instructions. We made Lighthouse Sandwiches for Mrs Grinling last week and this week we are writing the instructions to match, pop in and see if you like.
Below are pictures taken from when we made bread for the Little Red Hen, do you think you could type some instructions to match?
By the way it tasted delicious so you if you fancy having a go and need any bread making advice, just ask Year 1!

1KJ’s Trip to the Post Office
